EFM claims that the hardness of the curved Sapphire screen armour is only second to diamond, this means the sapphire coating is tough enough to protect your Galaxy S9 screen from any scratches. When I tested the anti-scratch features, I scratched and knocked the screen really hard and the screen turned out to be nice and clean without scratches.

The screen armour is tested by dropping a steel ball from varying heights up to 2 metres onto the screen and screen armour, then determining the amount of impact force (kg) produced which means the higher the impact force, the higher the impact rating. Pretty tough right?

Downside
The only downside to this tough screen is the smudges. Yes, a lot of smudges was found on the screen although the layer construction includes the anti-smudge layer.
Conclusions
According to the test that I’ve done so far with the EFM screen armour on my Galaxy S9 is that it’s case friendly even on the most rugged case such as the Defender from Otterbox. It’s clean from scratches although I dropped the keys many times and scratched it hard, there won’t be any scratches but unfortunately a lot of smudges.
