Let me introduce you to the slimmest case with impact absorbant protection, the Incipio Octane Shock-Absorbing Co-molded Case. It's one of the thinnest yet protective mobile cases that we've come across for those of you looking for slickness and protection at the same time.
First impression &Review
The Incipio Octane Shock-Absorbing Co-molded Case is the slimmest case with protection we ever used. However, when everything is so slim, the protection is also at risk. The rigid shell, shock-absorbing bumper, and cut-outs for the camera is so thin.
It’s great to have such a slim case as it’s easy to hold without any bulk plus the Shock-absorbing flexible bumper for the 1.2-metre drop protection and a really nice grip on the hand.
The dual-infused material of this case has a more susceptible to scratching, and you're going to end up with scratches at the end of the day, but thankfully, this case is a smokey case so you can’t see the scratches.
The cut-outs for the headphone jack and charging is larger than other cases. So, if you got a set of big headphone jack, the large cut-outs on the case will fit.
Another thing is that the dove coating on the case makes it slippery on the table. It’s not so slippery on the hand as there’s a shock-absorbing bumper to hold and it’s pretty grippy to hold.
The Incipio Octane Shock-Absorbing Co-molded Case is not the best one on the market, but the case is in the middle-class category. The case is so thin that makes everything else minimal too, and works weel on wireless charger.
The cut-outs for the camera, the back cover, the cut-outs for the headphone jack. Although there’s a shock-absorbing bumper, the edges of the case are thin which is not so great for a high fall.
Overall, if you’re looking for a slim case with drop protection that’s only going to charge you A$31.95 with drop protection, the Incipio Octane Shock-Absorbing Co-molded Case is the worth one to choose than all the cheap slim cases out there.
So, that’s all about my honest review on the Incipio Octane Shock-Absorbing Co-molded Case. If you have any experience with this case, you can share here and let me know what you think.
