The design of Incipio Reprieve Sport Reinforced Corners Case is just like the name. What makes it worth noticing is that it comes with some comfy knee pads on the edges, and since I love the pink colour, so I choose the pink colour case.
I love the colour option they offer. Holding the case the first time was very nice with the ridges on the left and right side. But when I looked to the back, the smudges of my finger were all over the case.
There are no issues with the handling as the bumper is made of rubber. Buttons are easy to use, and the ports are all accesible. The side feels rubbery with ridges on it which actually gives you something to grasp onto.
The only thing that bothers me is the slick back but fortunately there’s a grippy bumper at the side which helps the handling of the the case. The slippery back is a bit annoying because it slips easily from my hands but slides in and out of the pocket easily.
The case has a sporty look to it unlike other clear cases that opt to be a more subtle clear design. The build quality of the case feels solid and soft on the sides. The left and right side of the bumper case is covered with ridges. It’s a nice rubber on the bumper of the case, it seems very protective.
The large cutouts on the bottom and a deep lightning cutout work fine with the cables, and the extra pad on the edges I think is for drop protection.
|The things that I find amazing:||The things that I find annoying:|
I like how the ridges on the left and right side gives me something to grasp onto since the back is slippery. Although some find the slick back, and ridges on the sides very disturbing. But for me, I don’t mind the ridges on the bumper, but the back is too slick for me.
The build quality of the case feels solid, and the grippy bumper with extra pad at the edges assures me that this case has drop protection too. I bought the case for Samsung Galaxy S9 for A$35.95, and I think it’s worth the price with all the sporty look and some protection on the edges.
So, if you’re on a budget but love sporty looking case with some drop protection, the Incipio Reprieve Sport Reinforced Corners Case is worth to try.
