Today I'll be reviewing the Tech21 Evo Max Rugged Protective Flexshock Case. It's a one-piece hybrid case with exciting features such as sliding cover for the camera and a kickstand. Let's find out more below!
The Tech21 Evo Max Rugged Protective Flexshock Case is a one-piece hybrid case. It feels like hard plastic polycarbonate shell on its backplate and a durable rubber material on the sides and around the actual case frame. I guess both components are constructed into one piece for a much easier installation.
The best thing about this case is the sliding cover for the camera. This is the first case I ever saw a sliding cover to protect the camera. I think it's an added security designed to protect the protruded camera of the device when not in use. What's good about this feature is that it has a built-in microfiber underneath the lens cover surface that automatically cleans the camera lens as you open and closes it.The raised rubber surface that goes around the back feels pretty grippy too.
What makes this case so unique is the built-in lens cover on the back with a sliding mechanism, and it also comes with a built-in microfiber underneath the lens cover surface that automatically cleans my camera lens as I open and close it. The large cut-outs for the charging port do bother me a bit because it won't protect the bottom part of my phone.
I can now place my smartphone anywhere I want without worrying about the camera as it is sealed. However, the case does make the phone slightly bulkier, but I think it's a small price to pay for good protection. Besides, this case comes with a kickstand for viewing stand. It's useful for me to watch a movie with the kickstand.

The things I dislike:
Overall, I'm delighted with this one-piece hybrid case from Tech21 Evo Max Rugged Protective Flexshock Case. This is the first case I ever saw a sliding cover to protect the camera a smartphone, and this is what makes this case so unique. It's so nice to know that my camera is always sealed from dust and it cleans by itself with built-in microfiber underneath the lens cover.
The case has protected my phone against occasional drop, and It's attractive and convenient to use and looks tough as old boots. It gives a worry-free feeling for my investment. The only downside I think is the volume control which is very hard to press and the large cut-outs for the charging port. So, that's all about my honest review. If you have any experience as I did, you can share here and let me know what you think.
