Having reviewed iFrogz’s past version of the AIRTIME line has given me a great basis to compare the new, improved PRO earbuds, so there will be several mentions of how they improved.
They've made some impressive changes which have to lead to an increase in quality, but is the new one a good alternative to something like Apple's AirPods? Since I think the design looks like Apple’s Airpods.
After struggling with the inconsistent Bluetooth from the previous iFrogz earbuds, Zagg has made better quality earbuds. I think the connection is better now than the iFrogz Airtime Truly Wireless Earbuds + Charging Case which has a bit of poor connectivity. The sound is still the same as the previous version, loud and clear but unremarkable. One of the Airtime Pro earbuds is that I think it’s for those who can't use AirPods earbuds due to their size, and with the AIRTIME line earbuds, they offer different kind of sizes for the earbuds.
The iFrogz Airtime Truly Wireless Earbuds + Charging Case is the first AIRTIME line earbuds. They both also come with three ear tip sizes; small, medium, and large size. The earbuds connect quickly with the Bluetooth connection but have a bit of connection problem when I got too far from the case, but this is resolved with the PRO earbuds.
Unlike AirPods, the latest iFrogz earphones ship with three included pairs of ear tips and ear wings that let you enjoy a personalized fit. The cases from both earbuds are pretty lightweight, but a bit flimsy for me and might not be able to withstand drops, I guess.
I think both cases are lightweight earbuds that provide enough powerful sound to give you the music in one ear while still being able to focus on the questions presented in front of you. However, I think the music is loud and clear but unremarkable.
I kept having to look at the back both the earbuds to make sure I had the right side before putting them in my ears. I’m not sure why that seemed confusing to me, but it does bother me a bit.
The first thing I noticed about the PRO was how the charging case has a much lower, more pocketable profile than the previous Airtime earbuds. They've made some impressive changes on the PRO such as stable connection, smaller case, and capacitive controls.
The capacitive controls are the metal insignias on both earbuds act as controls and respond to even the slightest touch from your finger. This is a nice improvement which we usually require an uncomfortable amount of force directing the earbud tips further into our ear canals.

The main benefit of the AIRTIME lines earbuds is that it’s for those who can't use AirPod earbuds due to their size and shape. But with the AIRTIME lines earbuds, you could choose your size and shape. The Zagg iFrogz Airtime Pro Truly Wireless Stem Earbuds is at A$129.95 and iFrogz Airtime Truly Wireless Earbuds + Charging Case is A$109.95.
I prefer the PRO since it’s more improved in quality. If you want a more stable Bluetooth connection, and capacitive controls, the PRO is the one. Besides, both only have $20 difference. It’s worth the price for alternative to something like the Apple's AirPods. So, if you have any experience with both of the earbuds, you can share here and let me know what you think.
